Cookies Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2025

This page explains what cookies are, which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. On this website, we use Google Analytics (GA4) for anonymous usage statistics — only if you consent.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, function more efficiently, and provide information to site owners. Cookies can be “session” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” (stored until they expire or you delete them).

How we use cookies

We only use analytics cookies (from Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are most popular and how long people spend on them. These insights help us improve the site. We do not use cookies for advertising or marketing on this site.

Legal basis

In the UK and EU/EEA, analytics cookies require your consent. We load Google Analytics only after you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under cookieConsent and applied across visits.

How to change your choice

Your current preference is saved in localStorage as cookieConsent with the value "accepted" or "rejected". To change it, use the cookie banner on our main page (it appears if no choice is saved or if you reset your browser storage), or use your browser’s cookie controls to clear site data.

Third-party processing

Google LLC provides Google Analytics. Usage data may be processed on servers outside the UK/EU. For details, see Google’s documentation and privacy policy.
